Villa Santa Maria InformationVilla Santa Maria accepts girls and boys between the ages of five and fourteen. Children that succeed in our program typically have received one or more psychiatric diagnoses and often have been receiving traditional therapeutic services with little or no success. Many of the children at Villa Santa Maria have Special Education needs such as Learning Disabilities or Behavior Disorders. Also included in the student population at Villa Santa Maria are those children who experience a lack of emotional bonds with family and peers. These problems may be related to divorce, family dysfunction, abuse, abandonment, separation or rejection. Our treatment approach is especially effective for children with Reactive Attachment Disorder and Early Childhood Bipolar Disorder. | |
